Chef Ted Cook owned Front Steet Cafe 20 years ago… before the same space was occupied by the popular restaurant Rippingoton’s. Ted dined in Rippington’s in late 2018, and told the owner, Martin, to call him when he is ready to retire.
Ted attended Johnson & Wales, in Providence, Rhode Island. Folks who have been in Waxhaw for a while fondly remember Ted operating the Front Street Cafe of Main Street. Now they welcome his Capricci’s True Italian, Ted’s 4th restaurant, featuring Northern Italian style delicacies, also considered “peasant food.” In addition, Capricci’s offers catering and rental of anything you might need to host a special event, with a variety of food choices beyond the Italian menu of his restaurant.
Capricci’s also has a bar, offering a great selection of liquor drinks, beers and wines.
